can i ask why you are building a motor just to sell it? thats kind of pointless since you lose so much money in the resale market.

Sure you can ask. I work at a machine shop and this is my job. I have a few shorts that I will be building in my spare time to make some room in my garage. Just a few that have came my way with intentions on building one for myself. But I have a good year or so until my hatch is ready.

 

And what exactly is your opinion of a (pro n stuff)?

 

Machine work and build is as follows.

Bore and Hone to finish with .0001" tolerance with deck plate.

Deck surfacing.

Crank Rods and pistons balanced within .2 grams.

Crank micro polished.

Pistons preped and debured.

ACL or Honda bearings instaled and checked for clearance.

Block painted and assembled with ARP main studs.

I have not decided on the brand of rods or pistons yet. Or if it will have a standard weight crank or a light weight one.
