Wouldn't a cheap sleeve off ebay with some good springs and shocks be just as good as any other coilover? Sry if its a noob question. Thanks

 

It should be fine but it doesn't cost that much more for a good set, unless you get the springs free.

 

I've heard stories of ebay sleeves, and have seen pics of them cracked in half. However I still would spend $50 for 4 sleeves and get like swift springs or eibach springs, but they are like $70 a piece still. 70*4= 280 + 50 = 330. Ground control set-up = 300

 

do the math like the guy above and youll see youre not saving anything.

really tho, there is a difference in GC sleeves. theyre made to fit properly and have a better perch mechanism. just apply a little wd40 or antisieze on the bolt threads to prevent the anodized surface from galling up.

its the anodization that causes people to have issues with the stripped cap screw. same reason why cheap aluminum lugnuts seize often....
