when i first got the car, about 2 months ago or so, the climate control worked half decent. now it seems that the defrost only button only lights up when it wants too. when i try to use the floor/defrost, it blows out from the regular vents AND everywhere else. then, if i push all the buttons from left to right, firmly, it seems to work properly. also, when i turn the temparature **** all the way to cold, it still blows luke warm air. i honestly don't think that its an electrical problem. is this something normal that happens to our cars? i don't want to go and get a new climate control if i don't have to. any insight would be greatly appreciated.

the car is a 1994 accord ex coupe.
