Default A 1.9Lt B16b?

Dear HT members first off forgive me for my english and secondly yes I did search the answer to question and found no solids answers so seek help from you guys please!

I have a ek4 vti with a b16a2 I want to upgrade a little(specially after seeing all the builds here) so I got lucky enough to find a b16b longblock thats been hydrolocked for around 800 U.S.

I had the bottom end & head checked out today and its very clear that it is only 1 rod/piston that got messed up with no show of damage neither on the crank nor head, atleast thats what the mech said!

what I would like to know is if I can use the LS crank, rod combo in this shortblock?

I might aswell change for better while working on the bottom end and for me better is more power so I would rather pick the ls crank, rods and 82mm pistons in order to get a 1.9lt

I know I cant use this combo with my stock b16 block but the b16b has a taller deck height so I should be alright right?(I think the b16b is 0.5mm taller then the ls/b20 block)

what else do you guys advise me to change? should I get better rods, pistons or will stock rods + RS machines with the help of arp rod bolts be enough?

has anyone done this with either a gsr,itr,b16b block? I choose not to use the full b20z/ls block because there arent many honda mechs to do the lsvtec stuff here and with the b16b there is no need for the head work, lsvtec kit and the oil passage is a better hence its the method honda choose to use.

You may have oil squirter clearance issues, I did in mine, 89 crank in a b18c block...
Just check it. Sounds like a good solid build.

very much appreciated both 00red sir & pyroproblem thank you!

I would also greatly appreciate your thoughts on performance rods, pistons vs stock ls rods,rs machines? ofcourse cost would be a factor and I also would like to have a nice quiet engine with those cast's but I would sacrifice a paycheck for the performance rods, pistons if they are an essential? do remember that this head, cams will probably want to make power up into the 8k range and maybe even higher.

I did some research on the oils squirters and it seems all I need to do is have them bent, can you guys confirm?

Iam in Germany and there are hardly any honda's here not to mention no honda specialists so what exactly do I have to order my engine builder to do once I buy the motor?(the ls combo will be bought from the states)

what does he have to do to make the ls crank work in this block and what other recommendations, suggestions can you give?
