BEST 67MM TURBO OUT THERE???
i actually have one of those on my car right now -- definitely a nice turbo but really didn't wow me per say -- we made similar power with the 6765 as we did with the GT4067s 3 years ago
but the Evo guys are making huge power with them, they seem to be on the right track for sure

haha, we actually put it back on before the Outlaw Race --were going to run it up there -- we are going back to our roots and just having fun
still interested in running the outlaw stuff though as the races come up -- i still have all the big turbo stuff that can go back on in no time but we aren't pushing it hard at all to try and run records

i like this thread we need more info on these turbo's for the new class! but guy's please dont start buying turbo's to take advantage of the class! the rules are going be modified over the winter and there are some kickers to keep this class from getting out of control!
i spoke with someone about this yesterday..i am going to call it now -- mark my words...
...if/when this class happens someone is going to come out and Bust Everyone's *** -- when this happens please no whining...i can already hear the calls for a 61mm class because the 67mm class is too fast, lol

Nobody is saying the size is going to change, but it's human nature at it's finest. I can't go as fast as other guys, so lets make a smaller turbo class, until that gets too fast for people, etc.
You could have a 57 trim class, and people would want to cap it at a 50 trim lol

I just purchased the t4 6765 billet for my new setup. One reason I chose that turbo was to stay in true street class at Imstar and WCF so I hope it doesn't change. I couldn't hold off on purchasing a turbo as i need to get new setup started
I am not quite too sure the 366XL is available anymore, i think it went out of production. But as a prior fwd 366 owner its one of the most wicked turbos that are available in a T3 frame and move over 80 lbs/min my trap speed was 149 with it
No it's not...in fact the turbo isn't even divided housing but for $250 you can put a divided housing on it... i know that doesn't make it a twin scroll.
We are going to make the manifold divided and tune it with the single housing then switch it up and re-dyno to see what the difference is. Just trying some different things for this setup.
I don't think the t3 rule is a good idea at all.

I have the s366XL and i love it so far..can't wait to get a real tune on my car. As for the t3 rule, I don't think that should matter. T3 or T4, people will still be making huge horsepower numbers and I believe its all just going to come down to who can put the most power to the ground.
