Corner lights matching silverstar ultra 4100k?
Hey guys. I am trying to color match my corner lights to my headlights. As the title says i have Silverstar Ulta 4100k headlights. (which are awesome btw!) Anyways what would i be looking for when buying bulbs for them. I have a 94 Accord EX. Links to bulbs that would work would be cool.
it don't seem much brighter I'll say, but I'm using it as a signal light for my civic in the rear.
corners, most likely hard to find, just go with LED, which isn't bright at all or try to find a rubber cap (blue) and put it on and see will it make the color a bit better?

i dont want silverstars in my corners, i know that headlight bulbs and corner light bulbs are not even similar and i dont want to pay $40 for corner light bulbs anyways. my headlights are not blue, they claim to be 4100K color which means they are white and i have looked at them before, i know that they are white (even on the yellow side of the range a little bit.) my housings are clear. i am just looking for bulbs that will fit my corner housings that will have a color close to the 4100K color. i know they wont be exact but the corners i have now are extremely yellow (not amber, YELLOW) i will post some pix of my lights later tonight.
all i want are bulbs for my corners that actually look white instead of yellow

not to be rude but i dont want stock bulbs. they suck. right now i have stock high beams and the silverstar low beams. my lows are not much dimmer than my brights and before someone asks no i didnt remove my deflectors on my low beams that is just how much better than stock bulbs the silverstar ultras are. i didnt buy them because they are "4100K" i dont really care about the color of the headlights. i bought them for the light output.
please no suggestions about replacing my headlights. i like the ones i have. i would just like my corners to actually look white instead of yellow.

I'm a bit confused, so you want a corner light that matches a "4100k" headlight?
If so, just go buy a "silverstar" turn signal. They should be "white", really depends on what kind of bulb it is also.

if there color will still be yellow as you say, then whats the point of putting a blue over it??
if you want your lights to be white not yellow then remove the amber reflector in the turn signel.

btw i dont have amber reflectors in my corner lights. they are clear with chrome inside and no reflectors. all i want is a bulb that has more of a white color to it.
"white" color bulbs, try going to kragen, look for the brand "pilot" and there should be some "xenon" turn singal bulbs that "suppose" to be white, which cost around $4-$10. I'm not sure if it's really white though, never tried those before since those "suppose" to have a higher wattage or something, not by much.
so if the bulb is clear with clear corners, doesnt that put out white light just like your headlghts? maybe give a front picture of the difference between your headlights and corners.
from the front the corners get washed out on camera because the head lights are so much brighter. that pic i posted is the best one i could get to show how it looks in person. that pic is also a link btw so that you can see it bigger. in person the colors are the same from the front as in that pic. maybe i will try a daytime pic tomorrow to see if that shows it any better but i dont think i will get one better than the one i posted. i'm gonna try posting this on bimmerforums.com because the guys over there do this all the time.
yes a clear bulb in clear corners should give off white light. and yes i guess technically it is "white" light being given off by mine in that the light isnt being that it isnt going through any filters but that doesnt change the fact that it is more yellow than my headlights by a long shot. thank you guys for all your help. i'm really surprised this isnt an issue for more of you. i know a lot of people on this forum are very serious about the appearance of their car. maybe i'm the only one that thinks it looks bad.

idk i'm not too sure if i even want these corners any more. i may just go the smoked amber corners route and say screw trying to find bulbs that look good.
i dont have a problem with amber if they are actually amber. mine are supposed to be clear. i like the look of the jdm full amber corners a lot and dont even mind the amber usdm corners that just have the amber reflectors. i just dont like the look of mine right now. they look yellow
