Default Is it just my car or do em2's have spongy brakes?

for the longest time, my car has had spongy brakes. i can't remember them being very firm even when the car was new. i recently gravity bled the brakes. some air bubles came out of the front driver side caliper but the brakes are still spongy. anyone have any ideas?

I adjusted my rear drums a few weeks ago I have 78,000 on them. I don't know if its just me but to me it feels like my break pedal is smoother and more sharp. But If your looking for better breaking I have heard some good things about using Hawk pads with Brimbo blanks gives a nice bite.

That's why you swap out the entire system.

It's like bleeding any other disc brake vacuum setup.

thanks for your useless posts...

i already bled the brakes. i was hoping to get more info on how to get air out of the abs system because the modulator has so many places that could trap air. when bleeding the brakes, does fluid even travel through the abs modulator since the abs system isn't being activated?

and btw..i bet your cars are slower than mine so stfu =p
