Vantage, i tried playing with the aperture settings as you said. my camera, fuji 4900 compensates for a smaller fstop by decreasing the shutter speed...pretty cool so i dont get underexposed pics

thanks fellas. illest, i was trying to make a specific area of the picture come into focus in the top two pics while keeping the camera in relatively the same position.

cool pics, ive found that by shooting from a low vantage point, u can get some cool shots. [learned that here on HT

here are a couple of shots i got by holding the camera out of the car door below the molding. make sure ur camera has a wrist strap!
EpDarks. thats a great idea of having the tach and the speedo go up. i'll have to try that. i already know its gonna be really blurry tho

my favorite.
oh yea also for some cool shots is slow down the shutter speed and move the camera left or right a tiny bit, it gives it the motion blur.... tripods work great for it. also ever try double exposing your film. taking a roll of film and logging your shots and then take corresponding shots on top of the already taken pictures... cool affect as well if you can match your shots up right...

i tried taking it to red, but my damn EX cut off at 7K lol
most of the time my shaky hands give the motion blur automatically lol. never tried that double exposure technique, i guess digital cameras do have some limitations compared to their film counterparts
