Default 01 V6 Accord - 6 dish In-dash changer issues

my 6 disc in dash cd changer has quit working and i have 5 discs or so in there.. I need to get them out... when i try to change disc or eject it just makes a wrrrr-ing sound, so it sounds like something mechanical... I'm guessing if i open it up, i can get the discs out without much issue...

But is this a standard thing, is there any easy fix, or something i can do... so that it will work properly?

Thanks

you will pretty much need to send it out to get repaired... if you know how, you can try to remove your cd's but you might end up damaging them...most honda dealers have a company that they send the unit out to for repairs.. i did that for my sister's 01 accord v6 coupe w/ 6 disc indash...

I wouldn't repair a CD changer that can't play .mp3s, not when you can buy a new aftermarket radio for $130 to $150, kit & harness included. Ones that play .mp3s, may have a USB port for flash drives loaded with .mp3s, maybe a SD card slot, iPod compatable, etc.

CD changers are obsolete.

If you really want the stock look and don't care about .mp3s, you can buy a single CD player for $98 plus shipping here: http://www.handa-accessories.com/accelect01.html
