A few ?'s - b16a in a '93 Del Sol
So first off Im new to this site and new to swapped civics.
First ? is,
What is this?

It has these two hoses coming out the top

They look like some kind of vacuum hoses and they arnt hooked up to anything.
Where do they go?
Second ?,
At the bottom of the radiator there is a small fitting

Is something missing from here?
Any help on this stuff would be great.

first pic is the charcoal canister one should hook up to the bigger nipple on the throttle body and the the smaller line goes to either the evap purge solenoid, or another vaccuum port on the intake.
the second pic is for if you have an auto trans

those are just part of your charcoal canister that takes the smell of fuel out of your vetilating system. you dont need them unless the smell of gas in your car is driving you crazy.
For the radiator that part at the bottom look like someone broke the radiator petcock that is used for draning out the coolant. thats my only guess on that from the pic that was provided. either that or someone was running a coolant line to something (which i doubt). the only thing i could think of is a liquid instead of oil cooled turbo, highly doubt it though.

And for the radiator, it looks like a mesh screen has been ziptied over it. Would there be a better way to do this?
the radiator isnt oem so it has a generic automatic nipple sticking out. Bought a replacement radiator from autozone and mine had it, but it had a more permanent looking plug but was still removable if it was used with a automatic transmission.
you shouldnt worry about that nothing goes into the bottom part of the radiator since you have a manual car, and yeah search for a diagram online or something even though its not required on obd1 cars.(obd2 it will throw a code)
