Default D16Z6 IM onto D15B7 question

ok, so I decided to put the intake manifold from a D16Z6 onto a D15B7 cause of the larger runners. everything went smooth until we ended up with an extra water line that originally went from the fast idle thermo valve to a nipple located on the D15B7 intake mani just underneath the larger one. the D16Z6 mani doesn't have a place to put it. so should i follow the D16Z6' map and run it from the FITV to the upper manifold nipple and just block off the one coming from the steel water pipe behind the block? i ask that only because the D16Z6 doesn't have that one from the main pipe anyway if i remember right. or should i use a T fitting and connect them all (which i really can't do at this particular time)

i think i just answered my own question. i'm thinking it would be best to use a Y fitting so i can keep the original D15B7 coolant format and merge the extra line into the cylinder head where it would be in it's original format by using that method.
