Default Intermediate shaft with auto tranny?

I was wondering if it was possible to put the intermediate shaft on 97 accord F22B2 block with automatic transmission.

I saw a post saying that the distance between the engine block and the axle hole was different between auto and manual

Any idea?

well, the differential assembly part number is different, so i am not sure if the inboards are different between the two.....i know the roller bearings on the inside of the MT axles are different. Also, I am not sure if they length from the differential hole to the hub mounting point is the same from both. one might come out more or less. why would you want to put that anyhow? besides decreasing torque steer?
