i have had the car almost 2 weeks and replaced the timeing belt and water pump and tentioners passenger tie rod re wired the brake switch and the hazard switch and put in two new brake light switches and now it will start up fine run and drive perfect and then i turn it off and go in somewhere or to a buddys house come out side hit the key and it just cranks not starting just cranks its throwing a code 16 the little light on the ecu flashes 16 times it says injecter fault its a dual point injection and i need to fix this so please can somebody help me out if you can please do pm me of relpy to this thread thank you for your time that is exactly how i feel and all i wanna do is lol so help me out please

 

replace main relay,fuel filter,reset ecu by disconnecting negative battery cable and run some fuel injector cleaner...!!!

 

should that stop it? because this car needs to get me like 40 miles everyday for work i need it to be reliable

 

i had similar problem i replaced main relay and had a loose ground and now it runs fine good luck

doing a good ground check is important even if you don't have a problem, cause a loose or corroded ground will ruin your day. make sure to check the main engine harness ground that is on the thermostat housing, that grounds the computer, and make sure the ground to your clutch cable holder is clean and tight.
