how good is your idle's and what do you idle at.

i want to know for all the pro series and tuner series.

I have finally got my built motor back on the road and my existing cams are idling way high, too noisy for the local neighborhood, but have crap loads or torque .

current idle rpm 2200.

My Pro2's idle just like stock, right at 800rpm.

I've had the Pro2's and Pro3's idling just fine. Did you degree the cams? That could be a factor.

properly setup, they should idle near the stock points. I did a set of pro2's on another car and they idled like stock.

yeah the cams are degreed properly, its just the cams themselves are very wild on low cam

Vtec changeover occurs 6000 rpm. They were designed for maximum low end and mid range, torque thats why the idle is so high. However they also maximise neighbor annoyance.

Thats why i am thinking of keeping this set for track use and wanting something that idles like stock for the street and around town.

I have the skunk IM at the moment and a high CR.

yep

i am happy with that mid range top end, it means not as much torque down low but i can idle ok by the sounds of it using the skunks and neighbour annoyance is minimised
