Default f22 head question

lookin to shave down my v tec head wondering if any one has done this how much have they taken off? i want to still run pump gas, wondering if any one has done any thing like this, any help is appriciated

shaving your head wont drastically increase your compression ratio so you'll still be able to run pump gas. And .030 is the maximum u can do it, but if you do that much u might want to check for clearences ( piston to valves ). You will also need to get and adjustable cam gear to adjust for change

it may make more sense to raise compression like many others do and get some higher comp. pistons and/or flat face valves.

you'll still be able to run pump gas (if you get the right pistons), just don't skip the tune.
