Just had my te 37's custom painted for the second time. I requested gunmetal and even printed out a picture of the le37 t's gunmetal with the machined lip I was trying to copy. Both times they painted them, the rims come out a drk green, not even close to any gun metal color I have seen. The first pic is the color they painted them, the second and third are the actual le37t's in gunmetal to see the difference in color. They know what I am looking for, I would accept anything that came out gray and somewhat dark. What do you guys think? I hate to ask again, but I don't want to settle. Worst case I would have them paint them black with the machined lip. I will be printing the responses to give to the company for some backup.
Thanks again for your time and opinions.

sorry, need to clarify. The two pics in this thread are of the actual le37t's I was trying to copy in gunmetal. Follow the link and the first picture of the rim against my car is the actual color they painted them. They look more green in person, that was my phone I took the pic with. If you contrast the originals with my picture you can clearly see the difference. Just wanted them any shad of drk grey really, not green. Couldn't load the pic on this site for some reason of my rim painted.
lol get a refund, those guys are morons if they failed twice after you explained it twice.
yeah dude not even close.. if they could match them to that 3rd pic youd be set.
i used to work as a jr. painter/ painters helper for 3 years and we did work for progressive insurence.. they qulity inspect the crap out of the work that comes back... but eye balling a gunmetal color is easy as crap. take some satin silver. a littel course silver and a dab of black and taadahhh you get a gunmetal... and play around with the combo of the 3 colors to get as close as you can to desired color..
sorry your haveing a hard time with this shop... but make them stand behind there work... thats not the color you paid for. make them do it again

like I said those guys don't know what they're doing, but I kinda dig the greenish grey color on your car.

Quick update for everyone. They had not even repainted them yet. They were still the same color as the first time. The guys that showed them to me had no idea and tried to pass them off as different. The manager greeted me when I came in and mentioned they had to order the color for me. I had a nice picture of what I wanted and he took it to make sure they matched it the best they could. I am glad that was solved because it was driving me nuts thinking about it. Its like returning your food at a restaurant. One time is already kind of embarrassing, but two times would be brutal. Thanks again for all your comments and help in distinguishing.

the 1st picture looks green but that just might be the camera or shade. the 3rd pic of them on the car looks gunmetal or grey looks good.
