Numbers look good you could probably squeeze out a bit more power dropping the rsr exhaust. That exhaust tho is one of the best classic sleeper exhaust for daily driving.

my STOCK JDM ITR made 170/124 back in the day. Would be good to have seen your stock numbers though.

Nice to see that your dyno operator uses SAE corrected numbers with a 5 smoothing. Those are good numbers for what you have, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. A before and after dyno would have been ideal though.

Here's mine...
Mugen intake, custom test pipe, Spoon Street muffler and some flat faced valves.

1st graph was with the stock intake.

Power FC, self tuned!

^Mugen is sick and has a nice tone!
Jordanitr, is your AFRs in the 11s in the higher RPMs? Looks like you could get a few more if you trim the fuel a lil bit in that area and add a degree or two of timing.

seems oke, bit low for the mods tough, since stock itr's do those kind of numbers.

my stock itr on a WAI and 2.5" exhaust did 193whp/104+mph (coupe on streettires) FYI

Yeah i think that dyno is pretty low. My buddy has a gsr with the ebay itr intake mani aka brothers and the tb hytech replica header and a ebay exhaust tuned on crome he made 184 128 tq i think the tuner maybe at fault. I think that's a conservative tune a/f maybe ok but no timing.

That dotted afr line is between 12:1 or 13:1, not really all that conservative.

There's too many factors that could have contributed to the "low" numbers. Low reading dyno, improper break-in of motor, untuned ignition timing, clearances too tight...etc.

Afr up top is 12.9 to 13.2, the motor was broken in properly. Maybe the Dyno just reads low. I do have a 3" intake on it, and timing is set to 18 degrees.

Numbers not bad.
My brothers friend's Type R, JDM ITR motor, Hytech replicas, AEM CAI, E-cutout, Hondata s300 made 191whp 13.6. Though I think he may be hiding something. Ha

Once again people you cannot compare dyno's however the fact that this graph was properly done using SAE correction is probably why some think the numbers are "low" when comparing to uncorrected numbers.

SAE can be lower or higher than uncorrected...presumably it would be a crappy correction factor if that wasn't true. STD is usually higher than SAE.

In 99% of the cases, SAE is always lower than STD. Tuning in high altitude might be the only exception.

I made 174-175/132 with a US ITR + DC JDM and 2.25 tanabe hyper medalion (no cat) with fuel tuning VAFC hack (hey it was 02 okay) Toda cam gears (minor cam gear tuning)

With a real tune that setup had some room to grow... I was hoping for 180-185ish...with a real header/exhaust combo it would have made a ton more

These days it has to be no cat, 2.5+ header back and a decent big tube header...195-200whp or so...add some cams and 210-215 should be the mark "to be"

My opinion anyway...I was happy with 4800 vtec cross over and 132ftlbs in the mid range which many said was "high" for the setup

I also wouldnt mess with B series NA anymore...I was looking to go K in 03 and now I am settled on H2B...hate cable shifted trans and love B series gear ratios/strength

I baselined 159whp before tuning/mods on that 248c dynojet at 3000ft elevation - obviously corrected to SAE because I know at higher elevations my car never felt as quick as my trips home (SoCal) at sea level.

Do you still have the dyno graph?
The tuning was done by Thomas from torquefreaks when it was still in business, he is very good for all motor stuff.

Alot of people have been buying this rmf replica, could you guys post your dynos of this header with pretty much simular build.

I'm kinda thinking this header might actually be crap.. but I could be wrong....

In for other dyno graphs. You shouldn't reallty expect much using the stock ITR cams. You only bumped compression a little.

ět seems that it's really a hit or miss situation, some people see 15 whp increase, some see none. kinda logical tough seeing the weld quality, surely it does'nt crack. but some of the welds protrude into the flow quite a bit, in multiple spots. i think these crappy welds came out better in some of the headers, explaining the big differences in gains everyone sees. probably the difference in welding between a 8 year old chinese boy and a 12 year old chinese boy.

i probably had one of the bad units, cause it made the same peak power and powerband as my stock cast 4-2-1 unit with a 2.25 inch collector.

both graph's at the same dyno, excactly same setup, RMF replica being the only difference (both corrected numbers+both tuned for max power AFR/timing).

can you see wich is the RMF?
