Default New TPS, idle problem.

I recently bought a new omni power TPS for my car, motor is an ls-vtec swap. when i changed the TPS, the idle was not bouncing anymore, like how it would when i had my old one on. but now the idle is extremely high. at idle its at 2.5 rpms.

is there a way to adjust the idle/tps?

thanks.

Default Re: New TPS, idle problem.

The new tps must be calibrated .48-.49 on the idle side and 4.5 volts on the WOT side. This is done with a multimeter by probing the middle wire on the connector going to the TPS and holding the throttle plate to WOT and turning tps till it reads 4.5 volts then adjust idle side with plate screw on throttle linkage
