One of the cleanest cars out there!

Glad he was able to get out under his own power, hopefully they can just fix the front end but it looked like a pretty hard hit.

That sucks, glad the driver is ok. Did a tire blow out on the big end? Car must be pretty bad after crashing at 190+

Looks like the chute didn't come out until the car was headed to the wall, wonder if it failed or if he didn't pull it in time

good to hear he's ok

What happened to cause the car to kick the rear end out like that?

Looks to me he completely forgot to pull the chute and stepped on the brakes hard and then realized and pulled the chute but it was too late.. Unless it's air activated and didn't open and that's why he was trying to manually pull it afterwards..

Either way it looks like the tires locked up and went to the wall..

Good thing is he's ok...

Cars could always be fixed...

if u watch the in car video he is pushing the button for the air chute and it dosen't work so he pulled the back up chute lever and only 1 opened so it didn't pull the car strait

Ouch, glad the drivers okay. I'm sure they'll have it back out soon enough. These guys pretty much live at the track, i can't remember last time i went to PBIR and they weren't there.

This is what caused the accident

This is how it should look like

They already started working on the car hoping to get it ready for the NSCRA Season Finale

Glad the driver is ok, amazing how fast the safety crew got there. Can somebody explain to me what that is that caused the crash? I'm not familiar of what that is in the picture besides the parachute?

yes saw this last week crazy vid. i knew he had air launch & once he noticed that wasnt working went for the lever. must of really seen the end comming up fast, scary.

lever took a second to hit cause i believe he had to pull a safty cable first.
but damn for both to act up day was doomed. at least he is ok cause he was deff turning for the wall. car looks like it came out better than i thought. all things considered.

I hated those liberty's before they had the bearing cap for the input shaft bearing there....well worth the upgrade if you ask me...you can grab the trans and dont have to worry about the input shaft coming outta the trans..just my .02
