CHIRS RADO PRO-FWD 6.87 @ 197
i believe they are calling it bogus due to the .7 60 ft. It would be awesome it were true but they gave him no time on that pass and 1.1 under on the index! and they would kill the index if it were true!

Impressive, if it's true, but like it was said, that could kill the index.
Not something you want to do in Comp.
Let's not forget about:
46. Scott Kelley SS/EX 10.50 9.757 -0.743
Looks like Scott was a winner in round 1.

Who gives a **** about the index ha ha. That would have been so cool if the time was legit.
Rado probably put a big FWING that extends out after he launches to give him a 30 foot advantage to the timers

Everything I can find says the timing starts at the starting line and the E.T. stops at the finish and it is not a collective timing. So if the 60' is bogus that doesn't make the E.T. bogus. From what I can find those times are to that point and are NOT added together to calculate the final E.T. He left on green the system started normally and ended normally the malfunction at the 60' timer doesn't make the pass void. Anyone know any different? Everything I can find about the timing system says it should count.

some times the beam activates off the rear wheels whick make the 60 awesome and the time crazy fast! same thing happened to me in pomona i ran my first 9 second pass lol and i think a 1.1 60 ft! sucks but i hear the car is kickn ***! also on a side note rado is also doing time attack at fontana this weekend double duty for the team! what a madhouse!
When I got a pass with an incorrect 60', the rest of the pass was bogus as well. Was running 9.80 at the time with 1.60ish 60's. Said I went 1.25 60' and 9.45.
If the 60' time is wrong because the timers started late, it's all wrong. If the 60' time was wrong because something tripped the 60' timers wrong then only that part would be wrong.

I for sure see how the starting line beam not starting on time would throw the whole pass off. So I guess we need to know if the 330' 1/8th and 1,000' times are way out of whack. But to just call the pass junk off the 60' is bunk. I'm sure more info will surface and the right call was PROBABLY made, but Chris and the Offical NHRA Starter Rick Stewart are not exactly buddies
Either way The car is out and running hard! I've had my money on Chris to be the first in the 6's for a long time now. I still expect him to do it. Good luck to CHRIS AND HIS WHOLE TEAM!! at the time attack and good luck on putting a 6 up and leaving no doubt about!
