Hey guys im plannin on installing my turbo kit this weekend but want to know if the oem clutch for a d16y8 will support the torque when boosting. The motor is going to be completly stock with fuel upgrades and tuned for 200hp. This is going to be my DD so if the oem clucth wont support the torque what kind of clutch/flywheel should i get that would be comfortable to drive but still grip when i need it to???? as far as how much torque the motor will put out...im not too sure untill it gets tuned.

 

stock d series clutch wont hold 200whp.

get an aftermarket clutch with a full face/street disk, thats as close to stock as youre gonna get.

 

Thanks CoreyR....does anyone know of any decent low budget clutch/ flywheel kits?...i know xtd makes a stage 2 6 puck clutch with a 12lb flywheel but i have never have had any experience with them..
