Default 1996 ACCORD ex sedan speedo issue

My gf has a 96 ex sedan and her speedo quits working once and a while. Then if we hit a good size bump, it will start working again. Would this e caused by a cluster issue or the vss? The cruise still works so Idk if it would be the Vss.

If the cruise works and there is no check engine light for the VSS, then it is most likely the speedo circuit board. Here is a thread that include how to remove instrument cluster, and then replace the speedo circuit board to retain the original odometer reading. Click on some of the links I have in that thread.
