Short Shifter Questions?
yes.
So, the best bang-for-the-buck solution is the B&M dual bend. It's name brand and good quality, looks VERY similar to the Skunk2, but costs $50 shipped instead of $100+.
I've been running the same one for about 4-5 years on a D series AND a B series engine with no problems whatsoever. It was my very first mod.

i had one of the cheap ones and then i bought a skunk2. the skunk2 is heavy and just feels solid. shift feel didn't change but its hard to put a price on piece of mind.
ive had an ebay short shifter for 3 years now ($25) not a single problem at all, i even receive comments for how smooth my car shifts (have hardened shifter bushings too)
shifter was used on a Z6 for 1 year and has been on my B16 for the past two years, had plenty of hard shifts thrown at it with no problems

TWM Performance also makes some nice short shifter. IMO better then the Skunk2. My bro had a skunk2 for 2 years, and it never shifted as smooth as my TWM Performance one which ive had for 4 years.
