middle two injectors dont work??
hey guys heres a good one for ya, i have a 92 accord ex that just had a timing belt blow out, bent a few valves, it ran perfect before that, i replaced the valves head gasket, intake gaskets, exhaust gasket, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, balance shaft belt and tensioner, water pump and a hose, put it all back together and no power wat so ever to the two middle fuel injectors, the fuel pump works fine, checked the relay that runs the pump it all checked out fine. the injectors seem to get power from two seperate vss relays, the one that comes off the transsmission seems to give power to the two middle ones, but as i said before there is no power.anyone help???
Put a screw driver to those two injectors you're talking about and listen to it if they click... You should be able to hear it by putting your ear against the screw driver while the screw driver is touching the injector you want to listen for.
well i ripped everything off again to get at all the wiring, but before i did that i checked the connectors that hook onto the injectors and they read o volts for the middle two and 11.something for the two outside ones. also i checked the ohms at all the injectors and they checked out fine
You need to check the injector clip (+) wires coming from the resistor box. Make sure they didn't get crushed, cut or frayed. While your at it you could also check the coloured ground wires that go from the injector clip to the ECU.
Your Accord should only be getting power from the resistor box, if this is a stock low impedance injector that is.
