Just give yourself a few degrees of camber.

205-55-16 is the correct tire size for our cars... I would go with 215-50-16 personally but if you really want to go 225 you can. It will look a little odd because you will have one fat sidewall... Also are you wheels 7.5 wide or more? Because if not you will not be able to run a 225!

Which is actually ok for the tire he wants to run. A 225/50/16 tire is approved for wheels as small as 6" wide to 8.5" wide. A 225/45 is approved for wheels ranging from 7"-8" on a 16" rim.

ugh who ever knew tire shopping could be so hard. i just at ep hatch picture thread for rims and tires on a 2 inch drop 225 50 16 is looking good but my rear camber has to be neg so i wont rub over bumps. so do i really want to do this??

You won't rub with those tire sizes if you have the right offset.

I am running a much larger tire than that on my car and I don't have any issues.

I am pretty sure that if I can fit a 255/35R18 on a 18x8.5" +40mm offset on my car without any clearance issues then you can easily run a 225/50/16 on a 16x7" wheel under +35mm offset.

I am curious as to why are you are running such a small wheel??

With that size you should have no rubbing issues. What is the offset you are gonna run?

Well, you also have an RSX. Our EP3 wheel wells are much smaller.

Also, negative camber is good for handling, but not too much...

I am running factory spec camber settings on my car and the RSX wheel well is a bit larger but the cars are based off of the same chassis. There will be slightly less clearance on an EP3 than there is on an RSX but not much difference. If I am able to run an aggressive setup as I am running you can do nearly identical setups but with slightly less offset and width. I should have about 1/2" more clearance than you will.

Bottom line, the wheels and tires will fit fine, possibly need a small amount of camber as well as a slight roll. Just gonna have to give it a whirl
