I just picked up me a 5th gen prelude sh...and i was woundering if it was worth it to swap a jdm h22 into it...i know the sh got a couple diffrent parts then the base model...but i was woundering wat your peeps opinions were if it was worth it to swap an jdm h22???

 

Not unless your H22a4 has problems, it would be a waste of time and money otherwise.

 

Not to mention he will get all the headaches that go with doing an OBD2 to OBD1 motor

 

^You can buy a OBD2 JDM H22a, you just have to specify when ordering from places like HMO but going OBD1 would be better if local laws allow it. The OBD1 version is slightly cheaper from what I remember.

 

I would only do a Type S swap if your current H22 is on it's way out.

Never knew there is an actual JDM H22a that is OBD2.

I always thought H22a was only 92-95 OBD1 motor.
