Default Dyno numbers w/ jdm header and Type One (T1r) exhaust

It was a good day. Woke up kinda early and headed down to ATP w/ Dlo GSR, we were the first to arrive at the Bay Area dyno day. Here are the graphs and some pics. I have videos, but we-todd is not taking em right now.

w/ silencer
166.6 whp
119.2 wtq

w/o silencer
173.4 whp
124.3wtq

http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...7.jpg.orig.jpg

Saw a white 98 type R put down 169.X whp and 118/19.X wtq w/ a JDM 4-1 header and an AEM CAI. An RSX type S put down 180 whp w/ just intake (due to an abnormal spike I think) , but his 2 later runs were at 175.4 and 175.5. DB8GSR's 4dr GSR-T put down 219 whp. Thanks for organizing Ray.

oh, hehe mods are listed in the title... duh.

I have the JDM 4-1 header, advanced timing, carsound cat, and a comptech icebox... hopefully I dyno around that number. I'm running the stock ITR exhaust, think that's holding me back?

I think it's definitely restricting flow, but by how much? I am not sure. According to the previors T1R dyno graph, he matched his baseline(stock exhaust) with the silenced T1R. So 7whp and 5wtq would be my guess w/ a more free flowing exhaust like the T1R. The 98 itr that dynoed at 169 had dynoed at 168 with just his AEM CAI. I think it had to do with his cam gears and his VAFC settings.

yeah, i would say ALWAYS drive without the silencer except for the fact it's LOUD like none other. everybody at ATB had their hands over their ears. i warned them before hand that it was gonna be REALLY loud, the didn't listen until it started dynoing . i only uncork her for the track, where the power really is needed. streets..

That makes me want to throw all my **** in a 4 door. Lately the 4 door has been growing on me. Not sure why. Maybe just because it is different.
Maybe it is worth looking into doing a switch...

nope, stock injectors (unless the previous owner swapped them, which i don't think he did). regularly $65 for 3 baseline runs. they chaged us $50 the day we went.
