vtec wont kick in

Default vtec wont kick in

yea i have a EK coupe 96
b16a on it i just got it few weeks ago

and vtec is not working...speedometer is not workin either
we already replace the speed senzor and everything still not work
i brought the car to a friend and let him check it
he found out that i got obd2b harness on it but the car is obd2a.
which is the stock harness on the DX

right now still tryin to figure out whats wrong with it..hopefully we will get it fix later on.
anyone have any idea?

What ECU are you using? Are you using a jumper harness? It's not wrong to use a OBD2B harness on a OBD2A car as long as you use a jumper harness.
