Default 92 Honda Accord Wagon Idle, shutoff problems

Here's my trouble fellas. I will be driving and the idle will go from 200rpm to 300rpm and back n fork. Also my speedometer bounces around crazy. It will drop and wont move then bounce up to speed. Just haywire movement. My check engine light comes on daily also. When I come to a stop the rpm's will drop all the way down to 0 and just about shut off but it jumps back up and drops again. Now im going to try the cleaning of the IACV tomorrow and see what happens. Im thinking its also a time to change fuel filter too. Any thing else i should be trying.

Please any suggestions and leads to a solution is so greatly appreciated.

Try cleaning the FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve) as well. Use a good carb cleaner.

Have you checked the main relay?

Do you also get a hesitation when the gauges do this?
