Looks good...hard to find a CRX in that good of shape around my way...regardless of the kit being molded in...nice find

 

you might just be in for a surprise when you get the molded kit off, easy way to cover up damage is to just fill it in with putty and bondo. Best of luck to you though, hope there are no surprises.

 

i agree with him on that molded in is never a good idea. Glad to see that you are going to put it back to its org state and make it clean and simple.

I was gonna say, the main problem looks to be your front bumper- if you demolded that and replaced it with your choice- then you wouldnt have to repaint the entire car-

I mean, unless you really late the style of the mugen kit?

how often are you gonna remove side skirts and a rear bumper? Front bumper is deff. a must to have not mold, I agree there- I'm just saying- since the sides and rear are molded already- and if its done well- you could just leave it?

 

I don't really remove sides skirts because CRX don't have sides skirts. I know its easy to put in and you don't have to drill but I think to make it clip on tight is drilling the chassis which I'm not going to do. Rear bumper never comes off its a car that is clean and doesn't need rear end work. They are done pretty well but not really feeling the skirts or the back though.
