Default tranny expert help!

okay my tranny went out on me, my cuzzin replaced the parts. he stated this to me. 1st to 5th runs smooth but when you downshift to 2nd gear its hard to shift in or sometime u cant even shift into 2nd gear on downshifting. what can cause this problem? he used the right tranny fluid. (honda) he stated that something is bent from the tranny (parts inside) but dont know whats its call. does acura even sell the parts?

Wa he trying to imply bent shift forks? My friend's 2nd sleeve was really bad and he wasn't able to downshift 2nd
