Not sure if there are alot of Ruckus owners here in the Dfw area that want to meet. But there is a meet up at the Dubliner Irish Pub every Thursday and Sunday. Mostly Totalruckus.com members and alot of vintage scooters. Then we will go on a night ride around the city. We will be meeting at 7pm.

We had 7 riders turn out. Rode 130 miles round trip from Frisco to Downtown Dallas,to the Flying Saucer in Downtown Ft. Worth then back to Frisco. Left at 4pm and walked in the door at 2am.
You guys still doing this? I'm fixin up my pink scoot, hopefully it'll be done by February. Think you'll still be out and about? I wanna meet up with you guys to show off my sweet ride.
My garage is kinda messy, but here's a pic of my baby:

Yes we still meet up and do group rides. Everyone is riding stock scooters with bolt on mods. I wont be ready to ride again till Febuary due to having my frame made into a 1 piece and swapping a gy6 fatty on it. Check out totalruckus.com There is a dfw thread and everything about meeting up with locals are always posted in there.
And if any of you are planning on putting a swap on your ruckus I can do it for you in a day turn around. But it will cost you and you must have every part I need to do the job.
Here a few pix from out last meet.

I'm considering buying a Ruckus this summer.
How do you guys get the scooters out places? Seems a little limited since they only go so fast.

Well the way I have been doing swaps for people is.
1. Own Ruckus
2. Buy a Donor 150cc scooter (wrecked or prefect)
3. Buy one relay from Radio Shack
4. Buy Vacuum fuel pump
5. Set of motor mounts or weld on mounts for Gy6 aka 150cc motors.
I have a few places here in DFW to get the donor scooter for about $150 to $400 for wrecked scooters. Now you really need the full swap and motor harness off the donor. now if you want to have th eDisc swap set up as well there is a little more work but it can be done. If you had every part I need I will have you scooter swapped and running if you dropped it off saturday morning and came back sunday afternoon to pick it up.
For all the labor I charge $500. Thats is you have every part.
