Does anyone know if there is any functional difference between the egr vacuum control solenoids from other models? I want to know if I can keep my HF Solenoid + CVC to use with another motor.

Will it work on anything Honda other than the d15b6 that has EGR? Let's use a OBD1 H22A4 for example.

 

the EGR parts for the H22 have different part numbers from the ones for the D15B6 - will they work? i don't know

 

That was the first thing I checked. The top filter part has the same P/N. The difference in P/N could be because of the different mounting location (shell design).

I just need to know if there is a difference in lift values. All the solenoids should be the same as the ECU just grounds the solenoid for EGR operation

 

No one re-used their HF egr solenoid and cvc with other motor swaps?
