Default need help with tein

first of all i did the search but find nothing that answer my question! here are the deal, i got tein ha in my ef for a while now. then during the weekend i want to lower it more, so i did like a normal adjustment by lower it by turn the coilover down about 1'-2' after that took the car out for a quick drive to set the height. then i took a look at it it still the same height as before????? so i just wont to know what esle do i need to do beside adjust the coilover??? i feel like something still hold the car height,i mean i did this so many time in the pass to my friend cars and there are no problem. maybe it got to do with the shock since you can adjust it 16 level from soft to hard. if you got any useful information please help me and thank you in advance.

I dont get on much besides sell parts but was in this area just lyrkin around but you have pictures???? so you lowered the coil over and it didnt go lower???are you sure the strut is going all the way down and nothing stopping it???i ran into problems like that before but it was always because i tried using the stock sleeves from oem struts on after market ones being they kept more dirt out but the metal would bind.

dont got any picture, but it only got like about 1' more to go...... IMO i think that it might be the shock i might need to adjust it soft first then it might lowerit a little then try to turn it alway to hard to set the shock!!! maybe that!!!

Do you have thick stabilisers?

Tein HA are a full sleeve coilover correct? If the height didnt drop low enough just keep lowering it. Adjusting the dampening isnt going to make you lower. If you drop it down all the way and its still at the same height inspect everything around your suspension. make sure nothings in the way of bringing it down more.

For the lowering springs, there just that, lowering springs. cuting them is prob the stupidest thing to do. if your not happy get adjustable coilovers.

and thick stabilizers he means front sway bar.

yes my is the full sleeve coilover one, thanks man i gonna try to adjust it to the lowest position and see what will happen, then if it not lower i will check for anything around suspension. thank again man!

if you move the sleeves in the rear will those drop and the stiffness wont do nothing about the ride height just allows more or less fluid thourh the valves in the dampner to make the shocks softer or stiffer.

Stabilizer bar, if it's too thick it will limit the travel of the suspension. Run a search on stabilizers and what they do.

yea my bet is your front sway bar is too thick to allow it to go any lower (these are light cars remember)

That's the only thing i can think of that would prevent the shock from returning, it must be an issue with the shock itself.

your telling me you dumpped the coils all the way and it still wont go any lower? i need pics. take pics of it jacked up. maybe we can see something thats in the way. no rubbing or grinding on anything to drop it? the radius rods arnt sitting on anything thats preventing you from lowering it anymore? your UCAs arent maxxed out and sitting on the frame?
