Default SWAPPING TRANS? HELP =[

i am swapping a GSR into my crx and i will be reusing my j1 cable trans off my b16. i have no prob changing a head gasket but the trans scares the hell out of me. i just want to make sure i do everything right and not break anything, i have searched but i cant seem to find a writeup for how to go upon doing this, its the last thing in the way of my car running again. Does anyone have a write up or advice to walk me through it?

What is the question exactly? Aren't you just basically leaving the tranny and jsut swapping out the longblock?

if i got the manual with torque specs for a 01 gsr that the swap came from....the process on the trans swap would be the same even if its a J1 cable?
