I was wondering if any of you guys or anybody u known has broke into the 9's with stock sleeves?? I know it wouldnt last very long... But it just question thats been running around in my head for some time now... Im sure there are some guys who have done it with the right tune.. So if u have just chime in and give us a little info on ur setup...
English racing went 9.54@151 in a CRX on stock sleeve rod and piston SC61.. No wheelie bars either.. weighed about 1950-2000 with driver IIRC...

The Editing on the video is sick and hope u guys are able to get that single number... My quest now is to try and break into the 9's also
A CLM car went 9's lastyear (Steve-O). From what Cunha said it made lil over 600whp in i think a 2100 lbs EG.
good MPH too, in the high 140's
I'm trying to do the same on my current set-up!!
but i'll wait till i have my sleeved motor ready b4 i chance trowing a ton of power into my stock sleeve "back-up" motor.

Im also trying to do the same on my setup...lol... Hopefully it works... I need as much seat time as i can to do something like this though...
i hope to see a single digit with my stock sleeves B20 block nex round (nov. 25)
last time i manage 10.0 @ 229kph and 10.2 @ 185kph (left at 1000f mark due to boost cut.
it made 700+ hp on dynojet at 29psi on 372R and log manifold.

sickkk...
Damn , for me it most likely won't happen this year. I still don't have a cage or a comp license (and to do this i'd have to go faster than 135mph).
So for now i'll get a ton of seat time at lower boost settings and getting my short track down. Tomorrow i'll try to trow another 5psi (20psi-22psi) into my car and see how she likes it.
Should be good for a 10.60@132-135mph...

Yeah I dun think it will happen this year neither for i still need to get tuned and just need to find time to get to the track...But we shall see
one was a split silicone vacume line (might have been dry-rotted).
and the other was this . I put too much boost , lol

Tomorrow i'll play it safe and run this baby!http://www.xenocron.com/manual-boost...1fc3e2f78d5fea
set at 20psi and dissable the boost solonoid.
Once i cage the car and really start to try for 9's. I'll deffinatly have to get my boost sorted out and solid!!

wasn't there a hot rod CRX in PR that ran 8's on stock sleeves? I may have it confused with aftermarket sleeves on 81mm bore though
I think Joe Demaree went 9.30 in his HR car on stock sleeves. You think well thats a HR car, but back then the HR cars weren't back halved and they looked just like the Outlaw FWD cars look today...just with much more basic setups and inferior turbos compared to what is used now.
