Engine swap troubles
2000 accord lx, 4 cyl, previous engine had 349000 miles and was smokikng badly so I figured it best to swap out entire engine. New engine has 79000 miles. Old engine ran well, minus the smoke coming from tailpipe. It was white and under throttle smoked horribly.
After the engine swap it is bogging down when I give it gas and hesitates.
The following engine codes came up
p0131
p0122a
p1362
p0113
could someone knowledgeable please offer some advice on ideas to try to check some of these without just starting to buy and replace a bunch or sensors.? Could one of these be causing the others to go goofy? Which is most likely to go bad on these cars? We tried switching the tps with no change, and the cars idle surges and varies in rpm when the car gets warm.

Do a search on the forums or read the Accord FAQ for the CEL list, even Google search will give you the cause and probably link you to a Honda-Tech thread.

Sounds a lot like you didn't install good sensors/banged up the old ones.
To successfully do a used engine swap from one car to another
A: Pressure test the cylinders. If they are not good, scrap the engine.
B: Dissassemble and replace gaskets, timing belt, oil pump, and other basics. Leaks are bad; oil eats wires and hose, clogs sensors, and mixing fluids destroys engines. A 10 year old timing belt that's sat in a junk yard will snap on you.
C: CLEAN EVERYTHING. THOROUGHLY. I can't stress this enough. Acid bath in a kiddie pool.

TPS, IAT, TDC, and primary o2.
Was the engine a direct replacement or did you get an engine that says ULEV on the valve cover? Do you know how to properly set TPS Voltage or did you just pop it on and plug it in? Do your reverse lights work (This is a serious question)?
Oh, and your surge in idle is probably an air leak or air in your cooling system, but I'm leaning more towards air leak near your IAT.

Slomofo thank u for the info, this is the exact type I was looking for. The engine is a vtec 2.3, my window on then back drivers door says LEV, not ULEV, I'm not sure if the U fell off or maybe it is the non ulev. When I went to junk yard the guy told me all vtecs were the same so I took his word on it. What would be the issues if I put a LEV(non-ULEV) in a ULEV car? I will try the reverse lights to tonight. I did not set the tps, and ended up changing back to the orig one from old motor, as I assumed that worked. Could u tell me how to set up tps? Tonight my next idea was toattempt to diagnose tps by checking voltage at tps sensor and putting a jumper to see if obd picks up the short.
As for the idle surge how would I fix the air leak in cooling system? I will check the iac for air leaks.. Again thanks for the help!!!!
