i ran the 24.5 x 8.5 x 15 for the first year i had my car. went 10s on a b16.
it can be done.

26's are too much tire for that power.

That still has nothing to do with this, a 26" would NEVER be a good decision for 450WHP.

It's too much tire for that power to spin, and it's hard on parts anyways. A 24.5" tire managed properly will net plenty of traction and will waste less power turning it.

The 8.5/24.5-15 will do just fine, @ the track. If you are going to be in a street class P235/60-15 bias ply on a 5",5.5",6" or 6.5"x15 wheel.

On a Prelude use the 25" M&H's. The car is too heavy for the M/T's. The sidewalls on the M/T wear out and they dont work as well on heavy cars.

- That's a very interesting point. How much does a Prelude weigh? And what is the front weight bias?

- I'm wondering how that compares to the hardcore SFWD/Outlaw cars with lots of ballast in the front end.
