Has anyone used KMS engine development parts? Their parts are well priced but I would like to get more information on them.

I have their EGR block off plate but it's kinda hard to mess one of those up lol.

 

I had no problem with their high flow valves and titanium retainers. The springs wiped out my cam lobes and rockers on a 800 mile road trip.

 

But was that the springs fault or is it the mystery cam/rocker wear?

 

I blame it on the springs. GUDE PERFORMANCE head/ type S cams. When I installed the KMS springs, there was a HUGE difference in spring pressure from the JDM springs. I had to "put my back into it" when I compressed the KMS springs! I bought new rockers reinstalled the original JDM cams and springs. DD for about 5 years after that. My conclusion can only be the springs were too stiff.

 

^That's why I'd only trust name brand parts for my valveterain.
