The firewall, dash, brake lines, steering components, pedal assembly, pretty much everything in front of the front door.

oOo... Well that to is goin to be some problems if he looks into it because if he does that he is goin to have 2 VIN's on his car, and that's an REALLY big problem and if you go sell the car later on you have to try and find all the paper work of the firewall and installing it.

you need the front brake lines..all of em...make sure you get the wipers,as most importers dont give you those...the steering rack...firewall dash..your going to use your factory lower control arms , because your radios rods wont work on the sir and your factory front k- frame ...sir bolt pattern is different..... go to my web site www.staatsperformance.com and see how i did mine ...i know my site needs updated but im workin on it make sure you dont move the car once you cut the firewall

I don't think that is 100% true what he told you? But if it was me I would this leave it an LHD and don't go thorw all the problems. Because lets these say something brakes in next in 4 thorw 5 years form now it's goin to be an REAL pain trying to find that ONE part because some JDM parts you can only get if buy the hole clip. That's why I don't like to put JDM parts on my car... This something to think about.

But whatever you do good luck.

He's going to do a firewall conversion. Cutting below where the vin numbers are in the firewall. He'll then just have to take off the vin from his old dash and put it on the rhd one. I Don't know if you can leave the one in the door where it is, or if it also goes to the right though.

Because by converting their car, it makes it less American... And who wouldn't want that?

hey hey hey, thats mean.

americans like the idea of being different. haha. because not everyone has a RHD car.

the OP is from my town, and the guys on our local forum aren't helping him.

but CORE132, you'll need brake lines, steering column, pedal assy. but isn't all of that included in the front clip?

i know what you mean, but in the town i'm in, there's about 3 rhd cars. and to most here, jdm fronts on cars look better than our usdm..

the american's being obsessed is like the japanese being obsessed with lhd conversions, and usdm conversions. i know guys who have met those japanese people. and the japanese loving american muscle cars.

thats how i look at it.

No. You don't find jdm parts or rhd cars over here so it is different.

I'm sure that if you lived in the states and saw what the Si-R version of your car looked like you would want it. (Front end,Seats, cluster,or even floor mats)

JDM may not be different to you since it's available to you, but it is here.
