Coolant Leak into Spark Plug Cylinder
Run into a slight issue that I find strange.
Make the story short and simple for you.
I keep finding coolant leaking into the top portion of the spark plug cylinder. Never thought much of it, until today/yesterday the engine started firing on 3 cylinders. Pulled compression to test health of motor. 205/220/220/220.
205 turns out to be the cylinder that is misfiring. I figure that its misfiring because the cylinder is filling up with liquid and stopping the spark from taking place.
Im going to pull the head this week and take a look at it. I just cant imagine what it could be. Head gasket maybe. Id hate to pull the head and see a crack in the block.
If I do find a crack in the block, Im thinking to JBWeld the crack? Hate to have to buy a new block again.

Well the obvious would tell me that it is leaking from a source that lets in coolant. Only thing I can tell that might be that is the head gasket, or there is crack in the head or block somewhere.
I wont know for sure until I pull the head.
Im pretty sure that it is either or. In the begining of the year I pulled compression and it was 225 across all cylinders. After a season of putting to motor to its limits, I could see it droping 5psi in all cylinders. I did notice that in the begingin of the year there was a slight amount of coolant in the same cylinder, but I passed it off as me spilling some coolant into the cylinder while building it earlier this year. Little did I know that it would come back at end of season to cause this.
