Ok so,i was at school and we were doing a DTC scan and i could not figure out how to hook it up to my OBD I car,

althought my body is a 93 civic
my engine is a 95 ls and 00 si vtec

and we found in the engine bay what looks like were you would plug i think around 8 prongs from the Snap-on part into the OBD I harness, which i think is from the 95 ls.

but there is also the stock OBD I 93 civic test points but would i use those or the one in the engine harness? ill take pictures for you guys today

but i was just wondering how you guys hooked up DTC scanners

 

you honda-1 its 3pins and its in the pass by the blower motor

 

yeah next to the kick panel? and yeah i tried with the stuff snap on gave me for the asian imports and nothing fit, its the blue fittings right that you plug the scan tool too?

 

i beleive its either blue or green i forget, i know my 99 si was green but obd 1 is prob diff color

 

if it is a snap on scan tool then you should have a HON-1 adapter.
