Cheers to MIR for a spectacular WCF weekend.
I'm certain I'll be speaking for many when I say this has been an incredible weekend. Immaculate track prep, broken records and when I came in on Sunday afternoon, the spectator count had at least tripled compared to the day prior. I'm not sure the staff was expecting such an absurd amount of people. Kudos to Jason Miller for being able to organize such a tremendous event and keeping the class fields tight. Lastly, some recognition due for Mr. Royce Miller. Although he's the boss and can just sit in the suite with his feet up, he's really hands on, running all over keeping order, picking up debris from the track service, braving the cold, etc. Perhaps one drawback is now we would have to wait another 12 months for the next WCF. Thanks again gentlemen for a memorable weekend from a humble race fan.
Thank you guys! We are going to be working on results to get up here shortly. It has been a full weekend of very hard work to pull this event off. Thank you for everyone's support at the WCF! Racing was tight and very close. The domestics really came hard this year and won 6 of the 7 heads up classes, but the imports held #1 qualifying positions in 5 of the 7 classes which is awesome!
Again, thank you very much, and look forward to seeing everyone next year!

the track prep and cleanup team is superb, im sure the people behind the scenes are the same. i love coming to this track because you guys dont **** around..oh ****, inline's integra just took out the timing box...2 minutes later here comes dude on atv with a new one..lol
When Bruce Hemminger went a 9.30 in the quarter finals it was lights out for the import boys (And everyone else for that matter!). Besides that, it was door to door for practically every class. I don't think Wild Street could've been any more precise. It was an hell of an event and the night racing is always fantastic.
We couldn't agree more! I haven't been to MIR in a while, only because I haven't been getting any tuning work in MD. But the event was everything I have been hearing about, and everythign great that I remember about MIR.
Very polite staff, organized, track was great, and the announcer was awesome.
I don't know how the guy still had a voice at the end of the day!
- We need another race in the beginning of the year too, just sayin'!

The only class that may need a bit of a reconsideration is True Street. At 2300lbs, the 67mm turbo cars were several tenths slower than last year and getting gang raped by the domestic boys who were running several tenths quicker than last year.

to all the MIR staff(especially that guy in the burnout box that run to every car and every clean-up.Always a hell of an eventI think if i didnt have a boost leak that i cant find yet and my alternator taking a back seat it would of been alot different.i was running with a boost pack attached everypass.
awesome event jason. you went out of your way to take care of the racers. wish i didnt have to throw the towel in, making the field, but it wouldnt have been right.
classes were tight, and the best part of the event to me, is seeing (and i am speaking truth not talking smack as we know how our cars back half the track) the domestics get out, and have a near side by side finish, but with a huge difference in mph.
i cant wait til next year. and if you decide to have a friday night true street shootout, i may make the trek down for that.
again, thankyou jason and MIR Crew!
