Bad bumper fitment - Can it be fixed?
I recently installed and ebay 98-01 oem aftermarket front bumper on my '95 ls integra. Fitment was pretty bad where the bumper meets the fenders. I used oem clips to attach the bumper. I could probably get it to be more flush vertically if I used nuts, bolts, and washers instead. But the sides still stick out ~1/4" too far:

How can this be fixed?
Should I just go with a real oem bumper instead?
BTW, this is going to be my project car so I don't mind doing "learn as you go" bodywork.

I have the same problem, have a replica front bumper. Mines looks exactly like yours and i used everything else OEM
A replica will never have a good fitment as the OEM would, so trying to make it fit good isnt going to happen.
My advice for you is to go OEM than there you will have a great fitment
And also when you got the front bumper, did you get the 98+ fenders, headlights and hood?
Because if you didnt than that also would result in not a good fitment
Just a heads up, i could be mistaken and if i am anybody correct me

You do NOT need the 98+ fenders/hood, but you do need the headlights. It might be the poor fitment of the bumper, but those headlights look a little weird...are they the 98+, or the 94-97?
Either way though, you can just see the waviness of the seam of the bumper where it meets the fender...I really don't think you're going to be able to get that right. Looks like you already had it painted unfortunately; it's always a good idea to test fit before paint! You might want to start looking for an OEM bumper.

Thanks for the insight.
AFAIK, 94-97 hood and fenders are the same as 98-01.
I changed front bumper, headlights, bumper lights, and bumper light brackets to 98-01. Still need to get both fender liners for 98-01.

Bumper was actually already painted. Figured I would throw it on before I took the car off the road.
