I had a customer who had a push button start installed on to his car. He put the button under the driver side floor mat to the left of the clutch (kinda in between the pedal and the dead pedal). He just turns the key, steps on the floor and its starts.

First, it's "steal", "thief", "a lot" (a lot consists of TWO individual words), etc.
Second, a thief can still steal (notice the difference between the two words?!) your car, even with a push start button. The button does just about zero to prevent theft.
Third, learn how the ignition in a car works... once you understand that basic principles, the wiring aspect becomes a walk in the park.
Fourth, don't try to quantify a gimmick-mod as some sort of security device.

Is your car automatic? If not, a push button will do nothing. All they have to do is roll the car and pop the clutch in gear.

dang man no need to be offensive all i was saying is you gotta think like a thief to defend your ****, and i know that if i were a theif (I AM NOT A THIEF) first place i'd look is the local forums to see who has what done to their rides. no point in security (hence the word secure) if every one knows what you got and how to work it.

There's plenty of other more effective ways of securing your car, run a search, there's plenty to be found.

No. It's not grammar school, either... but it doesn't mean you should strive to completely destroy the english language.

you shouldn't have to TRY to speak/type the language properly, that's what an education is for.

Punctuation, heard of it?

Also... you don't know jack about how ignition systems work.
If I jam a screwdriver into your ignition, twist it to the "On" position, and push your car and pop the clutch... it's going to start unless you have a kill switch.
You do realize a starter is NOT a necessary part of the car to start the car? You do know most lawnmowers, shifter karts (well, karts in general), a lot of formula cars, vintage cars, etc start right?

So, before you come in here with your very very limited empirical knowledge... maybe you should pick up a book and read. I've helped you by providing the following:

As long as we're on the subject, thieves is plural for thief.

So... from this, I've concluded that you're:
- an idiot.
- racist.
- don't know jack about what you're talking about.
- hate education.
- hate people providing information so you don't come off like a total retard.

Cool.
Enjoy working at fast food restaurants for the rest of your life, trying to figure out how cars work.
