my steering rack is shot needs to be replaced can some one explain to me how to do it or is it even worth doing your self its for 1997 honda accord ex

 

Buy yourself a Helms manual for the car

 

i just replaced my rack last week it was really dangerous. i didnt have the time to do it my self cost me around 450-500 for a shop to do. that was a reman rack for 150 and labour i think it took him 3-4hours.

Get the Helms manual, which is the factory service manual. Once you use the factory service manual, you'll never go back to other ones. It costs a little more; but, pays for itself.
