i have an ITR muffler and i want to know if it will fit my eg hatch. i've seen it on an eg before but i heard that when i lower my car it might not fit. can anyone give me any information or suggestions. if anyone has any pictures that would be cool too. thanks.

 

are you talking about the cat back, axle back or just muffler?

 

well i have the axleback but that has to get cut anyway. i just want to know if the muffler will fit. i researched and heard that it can be a pain in the *** to get it to fit. i'd like to here some first hand stories or something. otherwise ill just sell it and buy something else.

 

the place it wont fit sometimes is if you are running a big rear sway bar on your civic. the bend in the pipe sometimes isnt steep enough to fit if your car is slammed

 

yeah that's making me nervous. i was suppose to get it cut tm but i think i'm just going to sell it and buy a different axle back. thanks man.

this is the whole stock USDM ITR cat-back exhaust on my ej1...its how it sits...could b better if it was cut and rewelded

 

It fits, my buddy did it before on his eg hb with swaybar installed, he did have to cut the tip off cause it stuck out too much, looked kinda funny but he cared about performance over looks.
