It took me a few months to decide whether or not I should color match my door and bumper mouldings and a few days ago, I decided to pull them off and spray them. Got everything back together and heres how it turned out.

both looks good but the painted moldings makes it looks much cleaner.

But overall it looks pretty clean bro! The painted moldings look really nice and give it less of that "disposable car" look. Looks more proper and luxurious if you catch my drift.


Also, HUGE thumbsup on the VC. Some guy came to my house the other day and he had his K20 that color and OMG was it gorgeous. LOVE IT!!

Have you thought about sanding down your calipers to clean them up some, and getting some long silver lug nuts? That will make your rims "pop" more.

same, i prefer the black moldings.. looks more 'real' in a sense.. i've always found paint matched moldings looked kinda cheap, like when someone gets their car painted and they painted over the grill/mudflaps... i think if you painted the front lip white it would definitely complete the paint matched moldings look.. either way your DA is sick!

Can't really go wrong with either. Black or white, they both look sick. Although I'm leaning 51% painted 49% black.

 

I think black moldings looked better because you have tinted windows. But car still looks good with painted moldings
