Default car studdering

I just recently changed a worn out clutch on a 1993 accord EX. and every time I start to drive it in 1st gear the car studder's and it feels like it has something to do with the flywheel, clutch, pressure plate. But I am not sure of this. I did not take the flywheel off. all I did was replace the clutch disc, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. this happens when I am in reverse also. and the speedometer does not work. I did plug the VSS back in. what could be the cause of these 2 problems? the VSS is most likely electrical.
thanks H-T
