Default DSS 2.9 problems

Well I got these DSS2.9 axles for my crx brand new in box from a friend who was closing up shop. Ive had them in for about a month and everything has been great. Recently ive notices when I hit bumps its a lot louder then usual. So today I get under there and this is what I see.

I am just wonder what would cause this? It seems like the boot was put on wrong and is too scrunched together. I have never launched these axles period. There is a hole in the boot. I will call DSS monday because I know they have good customer service. just looking for opionions on how this happened. Thanks

as you can sorta see the hole in the boot.

Default Re: DSS 2.9 problems

It usually happens during installation/removal while banging it into other objects or if you use a tool to kncok it into the diff.
